The Chapter 11 case was set for automatic conversion to a liquidating Chapter 7 on November 1st. Worth Capital lead negotiations with all secured creditors for an extension of the conversion date, worked to procure and finalize the take-out financing package and lead negotiations with the senior lender and numerous equipment financing groups. Within 73 days from the time of engagement, armed with a new financing provider, SouthPort Marina emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protections via a full dismissal of the case along with consents of all secured creditors.
